This was our first time on Captiva Island and we had a wonderful stay at Ryan's place. It was a very secluded spot so we had a ton of privacy. Looking for seashells was high on our list of wants and most days the water was so clear we were able to snorkeling around and had several really nice finds. There's not much to do in the main town area but there's a Starbucks about a mile away that we got coffee from each morning and we stopped at the Bubble Room for lunch on our last day. This is a great spot if you want a peaceful beach stay in a clean and well taken care of house.

What a fabulous beachfront location. The views are incredible. The beach, which is a short walk right out the back door, was never crowded. The water is a beautiful aqua color and shells were abundant. We found cockle shells, kitten's paws, sunray venus clams, calico scallops, and many more. There is a convenient shower to wash all the sand off your feet after walking on the beach. The sunsets were stunning. Ryan was very informative and communicative. Check in was so easy. We didn't have any issues but felt sure that if we did, it would be taken care of as soon as possible. The worst thing about this place is having to leave. If given the chance we would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The AirBnB was perfect for our needs and the beachfront access was AMAZING! The unit was clean, stocked with what we needed, updated and quiet. We stayed here with our four young kids. The location is perfect, right on the beach, at the end of the island, not much traffic or people. Felt private, lot is running space for the kids. We had the beach and pool to ourselves the entire trip. Rental equipment was perfect. We biked into town everyday for lunch and ice cream with the kids. The pool looks new and is a perfect option for when the beach gets windy. Kids found lots of shells, another great activity. The house is simple, nothing fancy. If you plan to cook, dont forget to buy pantry staples like olive oil, butter, salt and pepper which are not provided.

Ryan's place was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The colors create a warm, inviting, fresh welcome. It was the perfect size for our family of eight. The view of the gulf was beautiful. We wanted to enjoy the beach as much as possible, so we didn't plan to eat out. We fixed our meals in the home and found the kitchen stocked with most everything we needed to cook our meals. We brought our own games, but loved that Ryan had a collection of family games in the home too. The home is in a quieter area of the island, which means the beach isn't crowded at all. We loved that. Some of our children love shell collecting and they found plenty of beautiful shells. The neighbors were quiet. We hardly noticed there were neighbors. We loved the morning walks on the beach and the first morning we saw dolphins out swimming. It really couldn't have been any more perfect. We would definitely stay again.
Notes
The hotel pool and restaurants located in the very back of South Seas are for hotel/resort guests only. This condo is individually owned. There is a pool and, of course, the beach located right in front of the condo for your use. You will also have access to the association tennis court, BBQ grills, and the beach. There are several restaurants just outside the gates of the resort available to you, and you are saving over 50% from resort rates.
