Very responsive to question ahead of time - much appreciated !

Just a wonderful spot - close to everything you could want - beach, pool, Boops for breakfast and ice cream! Tuesday farmers market was a gem- bought several days worth of amazing local options the ability to order the beach chairs and umbrella and have them ready was so helpful! And the place was so welcoming - comfortable bed, good kitchen, clean and nicely decorated. Will absolutely be back

Relaxing, beautiful place. Sunsets just steps outside your door. Shell collecting is supreme. Master bedroom bed and bath were perfect. Quiet place - just what we love. Kitchen is absolutely gorgeous!

Ryan's place was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The colors create a warm, inviting, fresh welcome. It was the perfect size for our family of eight. The view of the gulf was beautiful. We wanted to enjoy the beach as much as possible, so we didn't plan to eat out. We fixed our meals in the home and found the kitchen stocked with most everything we needed to cook our meals. We brought our own games, but loved that Ryan had a collection of family games in the home too. The home is in a quieter area of the island, which means the beach isn't crowded at all. We loved that. Some of our children love shell collecting and they found plenty of beautiful shells. The neighbors were quiet. We hardly noticed there were neighbors. We loved the morning walks on the beach and the first morning we saw dolphins out swimming. It really couldn't have been any more perfect. We would definitely stay again.

The unit was beautifully remodeled, the owner picked high quality finishes. Unit was great, spacious and very clean!

We loved our stay and didnt want to come back home. The location was perfect and a short walk to beach. Condo was beautiful and comfortable!! Definitely a great time!!!

Ryan was very helpful . We rented two condos Ryans one and another in D306 . Day and night difference. This was upgraded , good ocean views , clear communication from Ryan. The other through a different agency was Bots spamming us day and night - about legal stuff ) beyond Airbnb) and about not to mess with AC . This felt like we had a human who cared . I would rent from Ryan again in a heart beat. Made all the difference. Oh.. there was a tray full of sea shells in the living rooms. Looks like previous visitors have been leaving shells there . We left a Florida fighting conch shell as well . Enjoy Sanibel . Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in Captiva. The photos of the condo looked just like the real thing. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the pickleball courts, the easy walk to town, and the gorgeous view of the gulf from the screened porch. The kitchen in particular was equipped perfectly--we had all the cups, pots, pans, utensils, etc., that we needed for a family of 5 (3 young adults and their parents). We found plenty to do during our time there--we visited in December, and restaurants, shops, and farmers market were all open for business. We had one issue with the lock midway through our stay--Ryan responded within minutes, and the issue was resolved. We'd definitely stay here again!

great location. steps from the beach. it has good sunset views,the pool and palm trees are in the way but still really good place

Spending Christmas week in this beautiful home in the private Sunset Captiva community was fantastic. The location is outstanding quick access to the beach over a post-worthy wooden path, steps away from the iconic Andy Rosse Lane and surrounded by all the charm that makes Captiva such an idyllic place. The spacious house worked perfectly for our family of five plenty of room to spread out and to come together and stocked with everything we needed for a week focused on slowing down, reconnecting, and relaxing. We truly appreciate the care our hosts put into the home and into our stay. Another memorable trip to this island and well definitely be back!

Awesome location and rental

Great location & amenities. Ryan was an amazing host. The entire week was carefree with zero issues.

House with pool on the canal is an excellent location on Captiva. Right across the street from the beach--with private beach access for watching beautiful sunsets. Very well-equipped kitchen for all types of cooking with family. Dock was perfect for keeping center console for the week. Plenty of towels and beach towels and some pool toys. Ryan was very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. Great property located right on the gulf. We had 6 people and never felt crowded. I'd recommend this house without reservation.

We had a great week on Captiva at Ryan's place. The listing was 100% accurate to what we experienced. In fact, the pictures do not do the proximity to the beach justice. It took us less than 3 minutes walking from the front door to the water. No driving, no shoes needed,,, priceless. Beach is secluded and we were never on top of other people like at other public beaches on Sanibel (ie Bowman's). The pool was very clean, quiet and a nice change of pace from the beach. While it is in a condo type setting, we never heard other people through the walls or ceiling. Sunsets from the screened in porch were picture perfect. Communication with Ryan was good and he was very responsive. We did take advantage of the host credit at VayKLife and had a great experience of having our beach gear dropped off right at the front door. Don't forget to use that if you book. Laundry facility in the basement was easy breezy but did get a little busy later in the week. Overall, highly recommend.
