Description
Welcome to Wade On In Previously named On the Wiles Side! We are so glad you have found us. This Captiva, Florida Island home was recently completely remodeled. The landscaping has been expertly redone providing a natural, tropical feel. There is a beautiful pool area with lounge chairs, a dining area, grill, and plenty of space for your family or friends to enjoy. Downstairs you can also enjoy a competitive game of corn hole. There are plenty of pool floats where you can leisurely enjoy the perfectly heated water of the pool.
The sands of Captiva Beach are a 2-minute walk down Wiles Drive where you will find the quiet neighborhood beach path just before the library. We include everything you will need to make your beach day enjoyable; beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, coolers, and beach bags. We even have a beach wagon and beach toys for the kids.
The home offers vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. You will love the open kitchen design and all your family will need to prepare meals. The spacious master bedroom is on the west side of the home with a comfortable king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The two additional guest rooms are on the east side of the home with a bathroom in between. The living area offers comfortable seating and a dining table for 6. There is a washer/dryer as well as a nook area that holds books and games for the entire family to enjoy. Enjoy the evenings on the screened in front porch with a nice cool drink. If you love to go shelling, Captiva beach will excite you with its array of shells. Come back to the house and rinse them in our shell washing station!
Shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance or golf cart ride (may be rented separately from a local vendor).

Probably the best AirBnB weve rented. Were a family of six and stayed comfortably. The house was remarkably close to the beach, and easily/quickly walk back and forth. The appliances were new, worked perfectly. A great stay.

This is an excellent property for both families and couples. We personally experienced both. Very well appointed and maintained. An added bonus was the well-equipped Kitchen which we did use as well as the TV setups throughout the home! The pool area was very nice as well!

We loved our stay! Its a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The pool was always comfortably heated! They had all the little extras that made our vacation much more enjoyable! House was very clean, beds were comfortable and the home was very organized. We would definitely book this home again!

From the time leading up to our trip and continuing during our vacation Dream Vacations staff (JC, Karl) was very friendly and always quick to reply. When the pool heat wasnt working, Nicole even stopped by to check it out. She was lovely and assured us that if she couldnt get it working she would have a maintenance person come out that day.

Grandparents Annual Summer Vacation
This was a great family vacation. The entire property was exactly as described on the website and we could not have been more pleased. Great access to the beach which was less than a 5 minute walk. The home was large enough for our family to spread out if needed but would definitely be great for a couple looking for a getaway as well. Would definitely return. We had one small request for service that was handled by a gentleman that lives on the island within the hour. He knew the property and was in and out promptly. I was impressed!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was wonderful and the perfect size for our family of four. It was clean, stocked with all of the essentials and beautifully decorated. And location, location, location! The neighborhood was quiet & beautiful, the beach access was just a few steps down the street and it was an easy walk to the stores/restaurants in the village. We appreciated all of the beach gear that was provided (wagon, chairs, umbrella, etc) and got a kick out of the shell washing station where we could take inventory of all our treasures. And cant forget the pool - it was clean & refreshing and our boys loved it! This was by far one of our best trips yet and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful house, great accommodations. The open kitchen/living room/dining room space was functional, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds, and beautiful wall art. The pool was nice, very private, and serene, and we enjoyed looking at the lush tropical greenery there was a banana tree with banana bunches growing on it! We had a great and very relaxing vacation!

We absolutely loved this property. It was in a perfect location: an easy walk to the beach, close to all of the great restaurants and stores, and close to the marina. The house has a great layout and was beautifully renovated. The landscaping is gorgeous along with the pool and outdoor area. We appreciated the beach chairs, bags, coolers, tent, and cart that were also provided.

We had an amazing week at On the Wiles Side! The house was perfect for our family. We loved the pool. The beach is a short walk. Having chairs and beach wagon was appreciated! There are some pretty big iguanas that like the pool deck. We cooked several nights and also enjoyed the local restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for hosting us.
