Description

Loggerhead Cay 553 is a beautiful top-floor two-bedroom/two bath vacation condo which features vaulted ceilings with skylights in the Living Room & Master Bedroom.  Fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area with a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom suite has a king bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom has two full beds. We completely upgraded the kitchen with new countertops, appliances, and other high-end touches. Our condo offers free high-speed wireless internet, cable TV, and very easy access to the world-famous Sanibel Island shelling beaches, the community pool (one of the largest on the Island and heated during winter months), as well as other community amenities such as tennis courts, shuffleboard, and BBQ grills. Loggerhead Cay is one of the most popular rental locations on Sanibel Island, with its very convenient East Gulf Drive location. Avoid the traffic during peak season with easy on-off the Island via the Sanibel Causeway. The bike paths run in front of the complex, across East Gulf Drive, and Dante's Coal Fired Pizza is a short walk away at the Sanibel Inn.

While some of our homes may have beach gear on-site, availability varies, and we cannot guarantee specific items will be provided. Important Note: The elevators are currently functional; however, as they are mechanical items, we cannot guarantee they will remain operational during your stay. Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of elevator malfunctions.

Due to the aftermath of the storms Helene and Milton, the island is currently in a restoration phase. Please be aware that amenities may not be open or readily accessible during your visit, including limited restaurant options and activities. Additionally, ongoing construction may create noise and other disturbances that we have no control over.

Ryan and the team at Dream Vacation Rentals have been so easy to work with and made the rental process a complete breeze. Loved having a custom entry code for the property so there was no need for exchanges of keys, etc. Very convenient!

Loggerhead unit 553 is beautiful! Love the openness and natural light that comes with the vaulted ceilings. The open kitchen makes for a much easier transition into the dining area. Exceptional view of the pool, as well as the Gulf... an even better gulf view than the pictures show. We could literally talk with and keep an eye on the kids having fun in the pool right from our lanai. Plenty of beach accommodations (new Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.). Very, very convenient location to getting on and off the Island - don't have to use Periwinkle at all!
