Dream Vacation Rentals is a vacation rental and property management company for properties on Captiva and Sanibel Island that was started in 2018 by husband and wife, Ryan and Nicole Block. They fell in love with Sanibel and Captiva Islands so much they got married on the beach in 2008 and rented a Captiva Cruise for their reception. Both Ryan and Nicole love the Islands as do their two wonderful boys which both attend school on the Island and stay active with local programs.

With over 15 years of Sanibel Island and Captiva Island vacation rental and property management experience, Dream Vacation Rentals is ready to change how owners and guests think about vacation rentals. Our focus is on 100% guest satisfaction by ensuring only the highest quality vacation rental properties are being managed by Dream Vacation Rentals. Guests no longer have to go to an inconvenient check-in office to wait around for their keys or arrival packet. All Dream Vacation Rentals, that don't have an association restriction, will have keyless entry and feature innovative products to eliminate constant guest frustrations such as thermostats and internet issues. 

Ryan Block started in the Sanibel Island and Captiva Island vacation rental industry working for a leading Central Reservation company called Reservation Central. He was flown in from outside Detroit, Michigan while still in high school to work on their website and technology services. After high school and college, Reservation Central offered him a full-time position working to grow the business on the Islands. In 2008 he purchased Reservation Central and grew the agency into one of the area's top vacation rental booking agencies grossing nearly $2,000,000 in annual reservations. In 2013 an opportunity presented itself to assist a fledgling real estate company by leading their vacation rental department. Ryan grew the agency from just 25 units under management to nearly 200 vacation and annual rental properties under management by late 2017. 

Now the dream of owning and operating their own vacation rental agency has become reality and Dream Vacation Rentals is ready and able to serve the needs of Sanibel Island and Captiva Island vacation rental guests and owners.

Dream Vacation Rentals opens
Dream Vacation Rentals, co-owned by Ryan and Nicole Block, recently opened.
The couple has a combined 15-plus years of rental experience on Sanibel and Captiva.
From outside of the Detroit, Michigan (area), Ryan Block has a history in the island's rental market. Over the past 15 years, he co-owned Reservation Central and most recently managed an island rental agency.
Nicole Block, originally from Portland, Maine, loves the islands.
Dream Vacation Rentals is focused on owner and guest satisfaction, as well as employs new vacation rental technology like keyless entry systems and remote management of thermostats and routers.
